Events The Scandinavian Australian Association organises a number of events throughout the year to celebrate our Scandinavian traditions. Most of our events are open to visitors while some are for members only. Regular events schedule There are a range of regular events organised by or through the SAA and below are some of our weekly events. Danish conversation group Danish radio program [SBS] Floorball ACT Modern Icelandic Norwegian private language tutoring Norwegian conversation group Norwegian radio program [SBS] Revontulet – Finnish folkdancers sCanDans – Scandinavian folk dance Scandinavian school [Swedish] for children young people (6-18 years of age) for whom at least one parent speaks Swedish at home Swedish choir Swedish conversation group Swedish play group [Svenska lekgruppen] for children up to 7 years Swedish private language tutoring Swedish radio program [SBS] Major events calendar The SAA organises a range of major events through the year. Our main focus is on our Scandinavian traditions and many of the events are related to the yearly celebrations in the Scandinavian countries.
