About us
The Scandinavian Australian Association was first formed in 1963. Our main aim is to promote and preserve Scandinavian cultural and social interests. We are open to anyone with an interest in the Scandinavian countries, their people, languages, art and customs.

We have over 600 members from the Australian Capital Territory and regional New South Wales. Our social program runs all year round and includes traditional and contemporary events. We celebrate our national days, national feasts and festivals such as Christmas, Fastelavn, Lucia and Valborgsmässoafton. For more information go to our link symbolevents page.

We would be delighted to welcome into our association and share our culture and traditions with you! link symbolContact us to join now.
